I am a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. The college I trained with, CPHT, are considered to be the Gold Standard of hypnotherapy training schools in the country. I have achieved the prestigious HPD qualification which is only awarded to 20% of qualified hypnotherapists. My passion for hypnotherapy began as a child when my sister had a tooth removed under hypnotherapy – no pain relief, completely pain free. This dictated my future career path as I was absolutely fascinated by this experience. I have raised five wonderful children - mum to three children and step mum to two. I have been married for over 20 years and have two little dogs who I adore.

People come in many shapes and sizes and at various stages of life can experience an enormous range of symptoms that impede their ability to go about their daily life productively. I can help those in a state of crisis or at a point of emergency in  life to overcome such issues by using KWS Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, a rapid and often permanent hypnotherapy - psychotherapeutic approach. With my careful guidance, using many relaxation hypnotherapy techniques, my clients have overcome life limiting situations ranging from eating disorders, mental health issues, anger, anxiety, irrational fears, phobias, physical pain induced by medically diagnosed conditions, pregnancy related issues, marriage / relationship breakdown or retrieval, confidence building and crippling anxiety - to name but a few.

I completed my Psychology Bsc (Hons) Degree in 1998 and received an RSA Certificate in counselling skills in 1999. I have a PGC qualification in leadership and management and I have over 20 years of experience working in the education sector, predominantly with pupils diagnosed as SEMH or with other additional learning needs and challenging behaviour. I have been a Headteacher of a Local Authority Virtual School for Looked After Children, and have always held the belief that that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive - behaviour is an emotion some have learnt to hide behind. It is a symptom of their extreme distress, not a definition of who they are. Reducing the emotional trauma around these young people’s lives is paramount. I have years of experience and expertise in working with separation anxiety, loss and anger and in my role as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, I am able to work with a wide variety of children and adults who are troubled by an emotional situation and help them find the solution to their problem.
